Terms of Use
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This website is published in France and is governed by French law. This English version is a translation provided for convenience; in case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Qimetria website, published by FABIO STYLE (see the legal notice). Taking the test implies acceptance of these terms.
2. A free service, with no account
The test, the result, the answer key, the reasoning map, the PDF report and the leaderboard are free. No email, no account and no means of payment are requested.
3. Nature of the result
The score is an indicative estimate of logical reasoning, with calibration still in progress, accompanied by a theoretical margin of error. It is neither an IQ in the clinical sense nor a diagnosis (giftedness, learning disorder or otherwise). It does not replace an assessment carried out by a psychologist and must not be used to make an educational, professional, medical or hiring decision.
4. Nickname
The leaderboard is optional. If you tick the "Appear on the public leaderboard" box, a nickname of 3 to 20 characters and your country are requested before the test. They are displayed publicly on the leaderboard with your score. The country is chosen from a list: it is never inferred from your IP address. You may not choose a nickname that:
- contains your real name or another person's name, or that makes it possible to identify them;
- is insulting, hateful, discriminatory, sexual in nature or unlawful;
- imitates the publisher, the website or a brand;
- contains a web address or an email address.
An automatic filter rejects some of these nicknames. The publisher may remove, without notice, any leaderboard entry whose nickname breaks these rules.
5. Leaderboard rules
- Only one attempt is ranked per nickname: later attempts with the same nickname are not ranked.
- The test is scored by the server. An attempt finished in under 3 minutes, after the time limit, or with an impossible answer pace is not ranked.
- The leaderboard is offered for fun: it does not give rise to any prize, reward or certification.
- Scores are provisional: they may be recalculated when the test's calibration changes.
- You can remove your score at any time, from the result page or by writing to contact@premierclic.fr.
- An attempt that is not ranked because of an automatic check may be a mistake: the reason is shown on the result page, and you can contest it by writing to contact@premierclic.fr with your nickname and the date and time of the test. The publisher checks and, if the check was wrong, adds the score to the leaderboard.
5a. Daily challenge
- The daily challenge is a puzzle game. Its score out of 1,000 measures a performance on the day and is not an IQ estimate.
- Only one ranked game per profile per day. A game that has been started counts even if it is not finished. Practice games are not ranked.
- Each player must use only one profile for the leaderboards. The solutions to the ranked challenge must not be shared before they are published, the next day.
- A game in which several correct answers are given in under a second and a half is not ranked. The publisher may remove from the leaderboards any game or profile obtained by breaking these rules.
- At most 4 ranked games per day from the same internet connection, to limit multiple profiles. Games not ranked because of a check can be contested at contact@premierclic.fr.
- Duels are played between friends invited by link, on 5 puzzles that are the same for everyone. They earn no points or XP and stay open for 14 days.
- XP, levels, streaks, badges and divisions are offered for fun: they do not give rise to any prize and have no monetary value.
6. Automated use prohibited
It is prohibited to take the test using a bot, a script or any automated tool, to circumvent the website's protections (anti-bot check, submission limits, leaderboard checks), to scrape its content on a large scale or to disrupt its operation. Entries obtained this way are removed from the leaderboard.
7. Intellectual property
The website and its content are protected by copyright, except for the open-license elements detailed in the legal notice (in particular the matrices from the Open Matrices Item Bank, under the GNU GPL v3 license).
8. Availability and liability
The publisher strives to keep the website accessible, with no guarantee of permanent availability. A test in progress may be lost if the service is interrupted. The publisher cannot be held liable for the interpretation of a result or for the use made of it.
9. Personal data
See the privacy policy.
10. Changes and governing law
These terms may be changed at any time; the applicable version is the one online at the time of the test. They are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
